The ORI GIS and remote sensing laboratory is an efficient and modern facility that caters for the geographic and remote sensing data needs of researchers, government and the private sector. Our experienced and highly qualified team supports research through analysis of geospatial data, training as well as other technical assistance. We host the open access Okavango Basin Information System (OBIS) and Okavango Delta Information System (ODIS) databases which hold comprehensive historic and current geospatial data on the Okavango basin. We have specialized image processing software for accurate and efficient classification of your remotely sensed data.
